For the first time in his long illustrious career, Denny Hamlin has won three races in a row in a season.
The veteran collected his eighth victory at Pocono in dominating fashion, being the class of the field all day long ever since he started on the pole.
His teammate Christopher Bell attempted to try and stretch it on fuel to win or at least hopefully get a top five, but the No. 20 ran out of fuel on the final lap, and they end up finishing 26th.
Tyler Reddick rallied late on the freshest tires to finish second, passing William Byron with two laps to go, who finished third.
John Hunter Nemechek completes an incredible day in Long Pond, finishing in the fourth position after leading a handful of laps during the middle portion of the race. Kyle Larson rounded out the top five, and JHN’s LEGACY Motor Club teammate Erik Jones finished in the sixth position.
Chris Buescher, Ross Chastain, Ty Gibbs, and Ryan Blaney rounded out the top 10 finishers.
