In his second full-time season with JR Motorsports, Carson Kvapil finally takes his No. 1 to victory lane, in flashy fashion at the famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
The youngster held off the veteran to do so as Justin Allgaier closed the lead to under three tenths in the final laps.
Kvapil now gets that first win out of the way and continues to make a run for a championship as he moves to second in the Chase standings over Jesse Love.
Ross Chastain and Chase Elliott finished third and fourth respectively, giving JR Motorsports the record as being the first team to ever finish 1-2-3-4 in a NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race.
William Sawalich, Brent Crews, Corey Day, Sheldon Creed, Brandon Jones, and Austin Hill rounded out the top-10.
