The now two-time NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series winner Carson Kvapil has his confirmed home for 2027, and that will be at JR Motorsports, though he will have a brand new number.

Somewhat brand new, as Kvapil will sport the No. 8 that he used for years in the late model ranks, and the iconic number that’s been used forever by Dale Earnhardt Jr and his organization.

This move comes directly after Sammy Smith publicly announced that he would not be returning to the organization early on Wednesday.
