Josh Berry announced on Wednesday morning that he would not be returning to Wood Brothers Racing in 2027.

The 35-year-old, now in only his third full-time NASCAR Cup Series season, will be looking for a new home in a landscape that likely will not have many open contending seats.

It is unknown exactly what prompted this move from the organization, but the team has surely had some horrible luck this season, sitting 30th in the point standings.
