After a handful of top fives and second place finishes, Austin Hill is finally able to get that long-awaited win, as this one comes in San Diego.

Hill got by Taylor Gray on the final lap to take the lead, just laps removed from Gray’s No. 54 getting into Carson Kvapil for the top spot.

This marks Richard Childress Racing’s first win since the tragic passing of Kyle Busch, almost one month ago to the date.

Sheldon Creed would finish third, after an eventful day for the No. 00 which included a drunk fan in the window net of the car during one of the red flags.

Kvapil’s No. 1 slotted into fourth, with Sammy Smith in fifth. Jesse Love, Parker Retzlaff, Austin Green, Harrison Burton, and Corey Day rounded out the top 10 finishers.

The race saw absolute chaos at points, peaking at a huge pileup on a lap 35 restart sparked by Sam Mayer slamming into the wall, collecting 22 other cars officially.

The race also kicked off with Corey Day running into a manhole cover, and a red flag was displayed to repair the track.
